The North Central Aquaculture Regional Extension Facilitator is a web based tool to assist current and potential aquaculturists of the North Central and Great Lakes Region of the U.S. This web site contains publications, state Aquaculture Associations’ contact information, references, a discussion group, bulletin board, general surveys, announcements, and calendars of events. The goal is to have a user-friendly resource for regional aquaculturists.

 

We have installed a phone service to assist aquaculturists in the North Central and Great Lakes Region. This phone service is being provided to the industry in the Region to give them a live person to respond to their questions, problems, etc. If you have an "aquaculture emergency" or a question that can not be answered on this web site, feel free to call. We will directly answer questions that relate to our expertise. If we can not answer the question ourselves, we will direct you to someone on our multidisciplinary "team of experts" who specializes in the specific field in question. The phone will be answered during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm CST). Voicemail will be available for calls outside of business hours and messages will be returned in a timely fashion. The primary contact person is Jeff Nuese.
